The Texas A&M University Economics Society (T.A.M.E.S.) is an academically based organization closely incorporated with the Department of Economics, that focuses on promoting both social and professional economic information and networking for economics majors and any student interested in the field of economics. We work to provide various speakers of notoriety, group discussion such as seminars, diffusion of information pertaining to employment and further education, and any other means which benefit the members of the Society.

About: Howdy! My name is Samen Karim and I am a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie class of 2018. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I've been at A&M for almost four years now and I've had a wonderful time here. During my time here I have studied abroad in China at the Southwest University of Finance and Economics. I am also in the Masters of Science in Economics program at Texas A&M. I am so excited to be serving the Economics Society as the president and am looking forward to meeting all of you. About: Howdy! My name is Cameron and I’m a proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2018. Though I’ve always been an Aggie at heart, I actually transferred to Texas A&M in Fall 2016 and now I’m in my first year of the Econ Fastrack graduate program. I am currently pursing a BS in Economics and will hopefully be starting the Fastrack program for Financial Econometrics. I am very pleased that I will serve as Marketing Chair for Economics Society and am ready for a great semester.

I'm pursuing degrees in Economics and potentially Business Finance, along with a minor in French.
